  I had Suburban out to replace my gutters and the whole experience was horrible. First, they randomly showed up to do the install without scheduling a day with me. Not a huge deal as the job was outside, but still unprofessional to not set an appointment. When it came to the actual job, they destroyed my old drip edge when taking the old gutters out. Sections of it were torn completely off, and most of it was extremely bent. When they put the new ones in, the pitch they used left a lot of facia board exposed along with the holes from the old gutter nails. I'm not even 100% sure the pitch they used was correct because it was way more extreme than my old gutters. I'm not saying the pitch is wrong, I am saying that I am not sure; maybe the old ones weren't installed correctly. When I reached out to them about the issues, they said fixing the drip edge and covering the facia isn't part of the job and isn't their responsibility, but they could come out and put some silicone on the back of the gutters. This wouldn't solve the issue because the facia is still exposed, the drip edge is still destroyed, and putting silicone across the back of the gutter could cause water to back up into the house if they get plugged up. In the end, I had to go buy a roll of aluminum (not cheap) and finish the job I already paid them to do. It took me about 3 days to do this because I had to work on it after coming home from work. If this wasn't part of the job, they should have, at minimum, reached out to let me know what was going on so I could have decided how to proceed, but they ended up costing me a lot more money and personal time to fix their mess up. I would definitely not recommend using them for gutter replacement. Edit---Update Less than a year later, and my gutters are leaking. Just another reason to stay away from this company. I will, again, need to do their job and fix their terrible work.

  My experience with them is circa 2009 when I had them insulate a basement remodel. I recently called them for a telephone quote on an attic of a friend's. Stated the don't like to do quotes without visit, but compiled with budgetary quote.
