- SMShaun MDec 14, 20211.0They only sell to contractors. I already diagnosed the issue, removed the part and have it sitting on my desk that needs to be replaced. So how long will I sit without heat in the middle of winter to find a contractor.... Trane is another company like Apple that doesn't want to give the customer a "Right to Repair" their own products. I inherited this furnace when I bought this house. I will not buy a Trane product in the future.
