  Very pleased with Diehl Paving Inc. Tim came to give me a quote the day I called and getting on their schedule was quick. They did a great job paving my driveway and came back to seal where the driveway met the road curbing. Very reasonably priced. I would recommend them for your job.

  We had a problem with our sidewalks and our driveway. We called Diehl Paving. They came in and gave us a price and did the work. They are easy to work with as we made several changes in the layout of the work, which saved us some money and made things look a lot nicer. We are very happy with the work they did. They did concrete sidewalks and put 2 inches of macadam on top of our driveway.

  *****READ THIS BEFORE YOU HIRE THEM***** Their crew was great. However, the great job they did was not what was discussed with everyone throughout the process. I asked to have the pitch run a certain way and all involved (sales and site crew) agreed to that description at the close of day one. The crew was exceptional in their efforts to set the grading to how I requested. They worked until almost 6:00 on day one and had the grading just like I asked. Troy Jr was there earlier in the day and took part in the discussions but was not present when the final grade was set at the end of day 1. Earlier in day 1, he did try to convince me to set the water run off to go differently than what I had asked for. I explained to him why I wanted the grade to be set a certain way. At no point was I told that it was going to be done any different than we agreed upon. Again, the crew worked the rest of the day and had the grade set exactly as I had asked. Day2, the crew along with Troy Jr showed up and changed everything. They back bladed the grade and reset everything to the grade that Troy Jr had tried to convince me to do the day prior. In my opinion, the plan that we all agreed upon and the plan that the crew had already executed, should not have been changed without at least discussing it with the customer. Nobody talked to me about it! I questioned Troy and he basically told me that was how it had to be done. I asked why I was not informed of the plan change and asked him who made that decision. All I could get was that was how it had to be. Now, I have issues with my intended use of that part of the driveway and, more importantly, I have the driveway runoff feeding directly to the entry door area of my shed. So, now I have to install some sort of drainage in that area. I paid the full amount that they asked for the job and I did not receive what was agreed upon for the service provided. They did what they wanted and did not communicate that to me, their paying customer, until I noticed the change during the install. At that point, it was already poured in that area. I called to question it and I was told that it had to be done that way due to runoff. If that was the case, why did they agree to the plan and execute the prep work? The crew stayed late the day before and set elevations to what was discussed and agreed upon. Troy Sr called. He offered to build up the runoff area to level but guaranteed that I would have puddles. I really was surprised. He informed me that he was at the job and described me and my attire. Why would he not get out and introduce himself to his paying customer? At the end of this experience, the site crew was great but they did not do what I paid for. To this point, there has been no offer made to offer any discount or refund any portion of the payment in full for this job that was not installed as described. So, be very careful with Diehl and get everything in writing. The contract I had is very vague and non descriptive. Handshakes don’t matter with this company. Very disappointed.

  I’ve used many different paving companies over the past 25 years and I haven’t used anyone more than once. This will be my only paving company from now on. I had 5 different Companies come out to my latest commercial lot and I knew within 5 minutes that these were my people. Everyone right down to the workers were all top of their game.

  If you want a fair price, good workmanship and hardworking and friendly crew, than this should be a top choice. They are reliable and the crew works like a machine
