After being told by other stove shops that my damper wasn't fixable I called around looking for the prices of inserts. The one place started in the $3,000's (which was way too much for me). When I called Peachey's I asked how much it would cost for an insert that would fit and when he asked me why I needed a new one I explained that I my antique stove was unfixable because they no longer made the parts for it. He came out and looked at it and said they could fix it for me! They took it with them right then and turnaround was super fast! They saved me a few thousand that I wouldn't have been able to afford, fixed other parts of it, connected it to the chimney liner, painted it, and made it work better than it has in years! My old antique woodstove stove looks and works like brand new! I'm so very grateful! Thank you!!!!
