Arnett’s repair shop, test lab, and on-site field testing were on full display. We talked about the history of our “Super Beast”, “Mega Beast”, “Mini Beast” and “Pinpointer” products, and how they are hand-made right here in Tualatin. We provided tours of our rubber testing lab, hotline tool testing & repair shop, and grounding cable department. Finally, we enjoyed catered BBQ and a chance to sit down and share a meal with customers and vendors. The tours throughout the day gave customers a unique chance to experience the “behind the scenes” work that keeps PPE and PPGs in safe working condition. As a member of NAIL, our test lab & personnel are audited regularly to ensure we adhere to OSHA and ASTM procedures and guidelines. We received many good questions throughout the tours. Our “Onsite Field Testing” was mocked up to show customers how we test hot sticks + grounding cables at their property, instead of shipping these items to Arnett for testing. This saves customers the issue of downtime and being without tools/PPG.
