- MJMelissa JonesNov 8, 20251.0Terrible experience with Abbas. It’s sad not to be able to support this family owned local company. I had an appointment with Abbas employee Junior for Noon to discuss pump installation. I confirmed the appointment time the day of. I drove three hours one way to make the appointment. At 1 PM no Junior. I called the office and spoke with Tonya who said he would be there soon. He finally showed up 5 hours late at 5 PM. Junior came up with a great solution for me and said he would send a bid. The bid arrived and the DAB pump he recommended - the bid price showed $1999. These pumps are widely available for $1295. Abbas wanted to mark the pump up 45% or over $700! I called and asked them if they would lower the price of the pump. Their response was to “ decline my job” and cut off communication. A 45% markup on parts is not acceptable. To “decline my job” because I asked about the markup is not good business. To be 5 hours late for an appointment is unprofessional. Therefore I would not recommend Abbas. They claim they want to provide “ top notch service and fair rates.” They provide neither of those. Beware.
- LCLisa CookAug 25, 20255.0This business is amazing. The night before our first showing to sell our property the water went out on our 3 party well. Two of the three parties were out of town. I called another company and was quoted 300 dollars per hour as it was a Friday night. On a recommendation from a family member I called ABBAs. They were responsive and called back right away helping to diagnose over the phone. They came to house and did some magic, problem solved. What I could not believe was that they did not charge even a service call! There is a switch that still needs to needs to be replaced to avoid another fail. Once the neighbors are home you can bet that ABBAs will be who we will call 11out of 10!
