Since early October our 4 year old Rheem hot water heater has been leaking, 5 service calls, 3 pressure relief valves replaced and PSI regulator installed spending $1756 and it’s still leaking. They have no solution except buy a new one, as Rheem will not honor the 10 warranty and then they send me this email message today “ Thank you for choosing Wolcott Services for your recent service! We are proud to be your trusted home service provider in the greater Portland area. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and are committed to ensuring your satisfaction.” Seriously? Only gave 2 because Sean the service repair person was extremely nice and tried, the company on the other hand was absolutely no help so I live with constant stream of water in my garage.

Use Caution – Predatory Tiered Pricing and Overcharging!!
I am writing this to caution other homeowners about the pricing structure and business practices of this company. We called them to address a standard clog in our kitchen sink, and the experience felt more like a high-pressure sales tactic than a service call.
Upon arrival, the plumber presented three "options" rather than a straightforward estimate:
1. $400 to unclog the line.
2. $800 to unclog and scope the line.
3. $1,200 to unclog, scope, and flush the line.
We chose the second option ($800). After scoping the line, it was determined that a flush was indeed necessary (Option 3). However, instead of honoring their own $1,200 package price, they claimed that pricing no longer applied. We were charged a total of $1,600 for just three hours of work.
While flat-rate quotes make sense for predictable installs like water heaters, drainage issues are unpredictable. Using a rigid, tiered "menu" allowed this company to escalate a simple repair into an exorbitant bill. Charging $1,600 for three hours of labor without providing additional materials is, in my opinion, a mistreatment of the customer.
I strongly recommend asking for an hourly rate or looking elsewhere for a plumber who uses honest, transparent pricing rather than these "bundled" tiers that they refuse to honor once the work begins.
Wolcott hits all the right spots. They’re professional, reliable, and the right price. They were the only company that didn’t blink an eye at the difficulty of the job (water heater in the attic). Hire these guys for your next job!

I would highly recommend Wolcott for any of your water heater, hvac or plumbing needs. Anthony was our tech that came out to our home and he was very professional and friendly. He pointed out what was going on with our water heather and the available options. He was easy to communicate with and provided several different options to help meet our financial needs. Walcott was the compant that could get out to us the quickest. They have supplies easily accessible and can get the job done quickly... even if they have to replace a whole system. Give them a call if you are having any issues. A++++
I had to replace and install a new HVAC system in my home .Levi marley did a very great and thorough job from wolcott service. He explained each and every bit of process and updated regularly. He made sure we are comfortable and familiar in understanding the whole system how it operates and how do we manage when there are minor problems etc.I highly recommend the wolcott service as they are very competitive in pricing and value for money
