  We had an emergency roof leak and Josh was able to get out and get it diagnosed extremely quickly! He was knowledgeable, kind, and very proficient. 10/10, would absolutely use them again

  Josh helped me out even though I live in Bend, which is outside of his normal Portland service area. I was nervous about the condition of my roof, and he took the time to come out and do a very thorough inspection. He found a couple small issues that I was able to take care of quickly and, just as importantly, took the time to explain how roofs work in a way that actually made sense to me as a homeowner. Later on, after a big storm caused a leak, I reached out to Josh again. He walked me through what the issue could be, what to expect when talking to roofers, and the red flags to watch out for. He also helped me understand what a fair and honest scope of work and price should look like for the repair. Josh may be a friend, but after working with him, it’s clear he genuinely cares about protecting people’s homes and educating homeowners. As a small business owner myself, I really appreciate what Josh and the team at Roof & Nail are building — honest work, real value, and peace of mind for families.

  Josh, Jonathan, and David were a pleasure to work with during our roof repair. When Josh came out to give us an estimate, he took the time to clearly lay out all of our options. He thoroughly answered all of our questions, and made sure he clearly explained the reasoning why he was recommending what he was recommending. We initially contacted Roof&Nail during the rainy season, so understandably, work didn’t begin for a few weeks, but Josh remained in contact with us the whole time, and kept us updated on estimated timelines. Once work began, the crew was efficient, conscientious, and left us with a beautiful new roof. They finished the work in just a few days and took the time to thoroughly clean up after themselves. We’re very happy with our experience!
