- KMKathleen MayberryMar 21, 20235.0I went to Jims in need of 2, 2x6s, 83" long. I just happened to catch him when he was ready to try out his newest piece of machinery. A portamill. He had a lil 8' log on it & was going to make one 6x6... it was so fun to watch him run that mill. In no time we had 3, 8', 2x6s. He picked the best 2, surfaced & edged & cut'm to 83". Im the proud owner of 2 homemade boards. Jim can do just about anything when it come to mill work & wood. And when they're running Cedar the smell is devine. And the specialty wood they work is just beautiful. Jims Custom Molding is #1.
