- RMRoss Maier2 days ago5.0As a local stone mason and general contractor, I've used many different rental companies over the last 17 years in the Eugene/ Springfield area. Sunbelt is by far the best in town. They are the best at customer service, and they give the best service in the area. They hired all the best workers from all of the local rental places to their crew, and it shows. Their customer service crew has incredible experience- many of the employees have been in the industry anywhere from 20-40 yrs that they employ. I'm impressed at the quality of their machinery they rent, and the fair prices they charge. But aside from their awesome service, it's the human element they bring to the industry that sets them apart. They are ethical and fair to everyone who walks through that door. Ernie, Shawn, and Kelly are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and efficient while treating you like your business is valued by them. That means a lot to us local contractors who rely on equipment to complete our jobs. The guys in the service department are incredible too. Very nice and professional. Brian has one hell of a crew there. I was absolutely impressed by Brian's knowledge of the different engines on the various machines. The guy has been at it for a long time, and it shows. When I had an issue with the machine, he helped me out of a major jam and was just really fair about it. You're absolutely missing out if you're not renting your equipment from this location. They are worth ALL of your business in the future. I've had other rental companies in town rent out horrible machinery to me that fails to operate, breaks, or trailers fail to work and leak hydraulic fluid all over the place, causing other disasters and costing company time to deal with. I spoke with Sean on thursday around 10 am about a 19' lift for an upcoming project that was on a crucial timeline, and asked if next day delivery was possible. He got me set up right away with a reservation and sent over a payment link that was quick and convenient. The next day, the lift was delivered at the time they promised. Everything went smoothly. Extremely satisfied with the service snd will definitely continue doing business with them.

What do I need to rent a tool?
All you need is your driver’s license or a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card to pay for the rental upfront. No extra deposit is required.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. Call 800-667-9328 if you have any questions.
What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.
To receive notifications about your delivery, adjust your settings in your account to receive reminders and updates related to your delivery and pickup.
What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
Sunbelt Rentals inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental and should be in good working order. If you experience problems with the tool while renting it, please go to the specific Equipment Detail page within the reservation to request service. If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
