- JWjonathan woodyDec 2, 20252.0Eugene Branch needs an overhaul on the waterworks side. Older experts are great when and if they answer the phone. The two Stars are only for how they used to be. It'd be less if based on current state of the office. I dropped one Star for lack of cross training to allow more reps to handle aging out experts. Dropped another star for email and voicemail messages left going unanswered/un-returned. I had the phone number of the manufacturer for a large meter we needed, just needed to pay the middle man. No call backs or returned email. Third star dropped because after two weeks of trying to go through our local Eugene office, including two calls to the branch this morning, I called the Salem Branch and got what I needed. It's not a fluke, Eugene branch service has deteriorated since Covid on the water side. Wastewater side has been fine in my experience.

We've gotten exemplary help and service from the staff at Ferguson's Eugene, Oregon showroom in choosing all of our plumbing fixtures. Our builder had pointed us to a couple suppliers in Bend, Oregon, but they were terrible and had limited fixtures on display. They just wanted us to pick the most expensive stuff they were pushing and were no help at all in finding the right "value point." The Ferguson staff were exactly the opposite. Patient, knowledgeable and no pressure at all. I compared the prices they offered our contractor, and they were essentially the same as the best prices I could find on the Internet.
