  Roth plumbing provided me with one of the worst experiences in my 36 years as a homeowner. I normally would not write a review, especially a negative one, but I do not want anyone to endure the bad experience I had. My main complaints include the following: 1. I felt I was overcharged for the repair. It was an emergency, a leaking water pipe into the house which was getting worse over time. Thus, getting three quotes from different contractors was not realistic, given what I felt was an impending disaster. I still feel that Roth, through their representative, took advantage of me and my situation. 1. I was nickled and dimed to increase the final bill by over $1,000.00 without an itemized list of those extra charges, despite my asking for one. 3. Lastly, the Roth plumber/representative kept trying to get me to agree to more repairs in spite of my shock at the cost of the main repair and my telling him I could not afford more. Apparently, just about every faucet in my house was deficient, according to him. He was relentless in this and showed no consideration for my obvious distress at the cost of the main repair. There were smaller unprofessional behaviors which I noted but will not mention here. In the end, I just wanted him to leave my house. Roth installed new my heating and air conditioning system last year and I was so pleased with the professionalism and consideration of the whole group involved in that endeavor. Either Roth’s standards have slipped considerably or the plumbing division operates with much lower standards. I will not have Roth do any work in or around my home ever again.

  I have been a loyal customer with Roth's for quite q while and will continue to do so. The maintenance guys that service my heat pump every few months are knowledgeable and friendly. No matter who is sent, they have all been great. Today I had several electrical things taken care of, from installing outside fixtures, to moving chandeliers, and replacing a (broken) light bulb, the guys were great! They even helped me by finding fixtures online so I knew what to pick up. I highly recommend the services at Roth's

  Very poor experience with this company. Wanted to charge me $1,231 to replace a garbage disposal that had vibrated itself off the flange. It took him less than 30 seconds to put it back on the flange and tighten it up. I called the manufacturer because the garbage disposal is still under warranty and they are sending me a new one for nothing. This company charges ridiculous rates for no service. Even if I went to buy the same garbage disposal at Lowe's it's less than $200 and the whole assembly is already still in place underneath the sink so it would take them less than 5 minutes to pull out the old one and put the new one in. $1,231 is ludicrous! UPDATE: so I had the disposal rechecked and there is no leak on the bottom. There's no leak at all it's been more than 24 hours now there's no water coming out of it there's no water leaking from the faucet or from the PEX hose there's no water anywhere underneath my sink. The technician who came to the house lied and said that the disposal was leaking from the bottom and had to be replaced. That's why he said it was going to cost $1,231. These people are crooks!

  First and foremost, the promise of same day fix was terrific and the professional review and needs where spot on. Austin recommendation for not only the fix but the need of damage remediation team was of great help and very much needed. Austin repaired the cause of the damage and was very meticulous job. I will highly recommend this company and it staff to everyone. We ask that Roth home return to review a minor leak that occurred after the initial fix. Ray Nixon came to find a leak that occurred 2 weeks later and found that our remediation team ( not Roth) had failed to install a plug when they removed the dish washer which allowed the minor moisture to drip from under the sink not related to their original work. Again we thank the Roths team in the quick reaction and fix the problem.

  Tayler Bell and Dustin were here for the day replacing some very ancient wiring in my home. They had quoted it as being a one-day job, which I thought unlikely. It seemed more a day and a half event, but they arrived early (on time) and went to work immediately. Taking only a half hour break for lunch, they worked until about 18:20 and finished all. Their work ethic was quite refreshing, I’ve not seen such in Salem for quite some time. Taylor displays a subtle but decidedly confident set of leadership skills. Both men were quite polite and mindful of my home. Taylor has an excellent set of communication skills. We were kept apprised of all progress and plans throughout the day. He was open to questions at all times and established a good rapport with us early and consistently. I’m retired some 25 years now and this was to have been a short compliment for work well done, but I find myself writing an employee performance review. He brought out the “headhunter” in me and I see elements of a young man ready for more. My compliments, he represents your company quite well. You’ve a decided asset there. Five stars on all counts.
