Arrived early in time frame given. Did a preventive maintenance on my AC & Furnace. Showed me pictures of components and what else might need taken care of in the future. ( system is almost 20 years old). Replaced the AC capacitor. Happy with the service provided.

I paid 10500~ dollars for a 4500 (at coastal) gas furnace. It is no where near as efficient as I was led to believe. They installed it improperly, blocking the bottom storage, the actual unit inside the case was not properly mounted and almost fell out, they placed the artificial logs ON the gas elements preventing flow and causing a small combustion pop on ignition. They did not include the battery backup in the kit that it was supposed to come with, then it was a hassle just getting it. After install, mind you they are a dealer for the companies unit they installed, I was informed the installer had no idea how it worked and that he just read the instructions and couldn't be of any help on any questions. Finally a sales rep came out, fixed the logs, helped with the battery backup etc. I was also billed for a 140~ dollar pipe, which I asked them to take care of because all of the issues. The sales rep said they would get back to me, never heard anything. Supposedly they sent me to collections after "trying to contact me", I have never heard from them, or the collections agency regarding the matter. Now, as of last night, I am out of heat because the unit is releasing a massive amount of CO, fire department came out and confirmed, shut off the gas, and told me to call the installer for repair. I was then told that since they sent me to collections they would not help, and that the warranty on the less than year old appliance had expired in Oct of 2025. I am not entirely sure what to do at this point, as I do not have heat, and they are not willing to help. For 10 grand, I could have bought the unit myself and saved the hassle and 6 grand. Here's the thing though, had they called and said "we aren't going to eat the cost", I would have paid. Simple as that, but supposedly sending mail I never received as well as sending me to a collections company that has never reached out? Kind of wild.
