- SLStephanie LeVasonSep 22, 20253.0Our neighbor had their roof done, and to be fair, the work looks really good, was done quickly, and I remember noting as i drove to work, that they had a big tarp down, I assume to collect debris that fell onto my neighbor's property as they worked. They however did not care as much about adjacent property. They didn't have a problem coming into our yard to move materials they needed (we didn't care either, honestly) but we don't appreciate the trash and roofing materials left scattered on our property after they were gone. I spent the weekend cleaning up roofing scraps, nails, and other packaging from their work. And I still find bits whenever I'm out along the fence line. I wish they would put the same effort and care into maintaining the cleanliness along all sides of the project roof, not just the ones most impacting the owners/person paying.
