- DYDevin YoungJun 14, 20221.0I had a job in walkerton to complete-I live 2hrs from there , I needed a piece of equipment specific for certain aspects of the job. Alex and Chris had both told me prior to rental pick up that this piece of equipment would do what I needed. Upon arriving the equipment looked like the oldest part of the fleet I wouldn’t of given that equipment to someone for the day let alone charge someone for it, and upon starting the job it was unable to do the two specific things I needed it to do and I had to rent another piece of heavy equipment else where to complete the job. I called united rentals on the Monday to explain what had happened and spoke with Jason, Jason called me back Tuesday morning and felt it was necessary to state that the problems I had with the equipment wasn’t true and that I was a lair, Jason also felt it was necessary to inform me in a very smug and childish way that they would be renting out that garbage unit again today and laughed about it. Don’t waste your time here you’ll pay for something you can’t use and get called a liar afterwards when you raise concerns - a personalized phone call at 8am to be exact ! go to sunbelt rentals down the road
