  I would highly recommend Fortress Windows!! We recently moved into an old house that had almost 50 year old windows that were falling apart and needed to be replaced before the winter time. Since we needed to replace so many windows, and wanted to keep the original wood framing to maintain the character of the house, we were looking for the right company to install them who would have high attention to detail and were easy to work with. We ended up evaluating 7 different window companies since it was such a big job, and Fortress windows stood out from the start! Our main contact Richard was excellent to work with and was very communicative (especially about making aware of potential issues and how to mitigate them) without being overly pushy like so many of the other companies were. The window installer Max was excellent as well! He had such a high level of attention to detail, and made sure everything was clean/organized on sight. Amazing experience and would definitely recommend!!

  Steve was helpful in getting the process started and was able to receive a quote fairly quickly. As per my Condo board, I needed additional documentation before we could move forward with Fortress (insurance, business license, WSIB etc). I had requested said documents in November 2021. Apart from an occasional email response every few months, stating that it's coming, I still have not received any of the documentation I needed! Needless to say, I will not be returning here. I understand, Fortress could be too busy or they don't want my business. I would of appreciated if I got notification so I can look elsewhere instead of chasing for documentation and waste my time. I would rate this company zero stars if I could. Thank you for wasting my time.

  Incredibly happy with our windows, Both Richards were professional and had our windows installed faster than the timelines given. Also no pushy salesman tactics.

  Excellent experience. Thanks again Steve and the guys for the great door install. From start to finish they did excellent work. Even fixing the trim outside above the door and making the door look even better. Hopefully everyone in the company knows how easy going and professional Steve and his team are. We are super happy with the choice/quality of the door they supplied and also very happy with the installation. We would definitely recommend Fortress Windows without hesitation.
