The lady at the front was super helpful and friendly even though it was 7 30 am ! They even gave us a brand new 3 inch core bit off the shelf 😃 we love doing business with them

I've been using this Sunbelt location exclusively for the past 15 years for my company, since they were CRS before Sunbelt took over. I have an account with Sunbelt and have spent over $10,000 on rentals there last this year in 2025. I will NEVER spend another penny there as long as this man is working there. I in fact will return IF Sunbelt gets rid of him. Here's what happened. I rented a power trowel on friday the 28th of November for the day. I returned it at 3 pm. As i was unloading it, I noticed "Willy" standing there looking at me waiting for me to unload. BTW I literally had just responded to a Sunbelt email about their service and I praise Joe as usual, HE SHOULD BE RUNNING THAT STORE, THE GUY'S BEEN LOYAL AND HES FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL, IVE DELT WITH HIM FOR 15 YEARS NOW. That said, "Willy" looks at me with a disgusted look and RUDELY SAYS: "You gonna clean that?!" NOTE, THE MACHINE ITSELF WAS NOT DIRTY, THE FLOOR WE FINISHED WAS 400 SQUARE FEET AND WE USED THE MACHINE FOR NO LONGER THAN 1 HOUR, HE SAW THE BOTTOM OF THE FLOATS. BARELY ANYTHING ON THEM TOO... I smiled at him and kept my composure, I asked: "are we supposed to?" Because we are on all types of jobs sites and OFTEN don't have water access plus THAT DAY was -10°C. HE SAID EVEN MORE RUDELY: "It will be easier to rent to YOU again!" Emphasizing on the word "YOU". This guy in his 1st EVER encounter with me, treated me like i was worthless to him and that he was doing me some kind of favor by renting equipment to me.THEN HE GOT INTO A YELLING MATCH WITH ME OVER HOW RUDE HE IS. I've NEVER met a more vile individual in my life. IT WAS THE FIRST TIME HE SPOKE TO ME SINCE I STARTED RENTING THERE ABOUT ANYTHING, TO BE HONEST, IN MY OPINION, I FEEL LIKE THERE WAS SOMETHING MORE THAN A DIRTY FLOAT. HE SPOKE TO ME LIKE A MASTER TO A SLAVE IF YOU GET WHAT IM SAYING. SUNBELT, WHY ARE YOU KEEPING SUCH A VILE MAN IN CHARGE?? I will ask Head Office next week in a thorough email. This person should, in my opinion, NEVER be left in charge of a business. And to make it better, my wife was in the car with me when he decided to humiliate me undeservingly. A WARNING TO ANYONE WHO LIKES TO FEEL RESPECTED AND APPRECIATED FOR GIVING AWAY THEIR MONEY, DO NOT USE SUNBELT RENTALS ON SHEFFIELD ROAD. What do I need to rent a tool?
All you need is your driver’s license or a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card to pay for the rental upfront. No extra deposit is required.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.
To receive notifications about your delivery, adjust your settings in your account to receive reminders and updates related to your delivery and pickup.
What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
Sunbelt Rentals inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental and should be in good working order. If you experience problems with the tool while renting it, please go to the specific Equipment Detail page within the reservation to request service. If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
What do I need to rent a tool from Sunbelt Rentals?
