  SM has been helping us through the aftermath of a serious fire with great diligence and kindness. The conditions they had to work in were horrendous and the task of salvaging what they could was daunting. But their skill, hard work and perseverance have paid off handsomely for us. We will always be grateful to Ian and Amanda and their crew for restoring so many of our precious memories to us. Highly recommend.

  Don’t use these guys. I had a water leak above the A/C duct in December 2022, and late December had the insurance company recommend them, they initially estimated it would only be a couple weeks max. in june 2023 service master indicated they would do asbestos removal and repairs and it would take 2-3 weeks. After two weeks they sent us from the hotel back home, came back to a house full of dust and construction tarp. We went back to a hotel immediately after and were told it would take maybe another week or two of construction and that the work would be subcontracted as service master is busy, we were again told everything is done and we can move out of the hotel and come home on afternoon of aug 22. When we came home the place was full of dust, coffee cups and still had the same hole in the ceiling by the water leak. It took dozens of emails to get service master to come back, when they did they appeared apathetic, offered no apology or explanation for why a 2-3 week job took 9 weeks and was incomplete. Was told by their manager Don Houston that they will get back to me. About a month later following another service manager visit, another contractor came and did more work on 10 oct on some areas that were missed like spiral mold patterns in the linen closet. A month later we had no indication for if/when service master will come back to finish the job they committed to do and asked the insurance company to dismiss them. Don’t use them- no empathy, little responsibility, my dishwasher got scratched up from their subcontractor and was scoffed at when I pointed this out to their manager. Do not use them. Almost a year later from the water damage my laundry room looks almost the same (duct still propped up with books) after contracting, other than my copper water pipes were sprayed with popcorn ceiling mixture
