- KSKathleen SkillenSep 20, 20251.0I don’t drive in downtown Ottawa often. However, over the last two weeks I’ve encountered TKE drivers twice. Both times were horrible experiences. The first time, I was just an observer, the guy driving cut people off, didn’t use his blinker, went through on red lights and almost caused multiple accidents. I obviously can’t know if it’s the same driver but yesterday I had the unfortunate experience of a near accident with a TKE company vehicle. Our lanes were merging - I was in the right lane and I didn’t realize there was a closure up ahead. He was far behind me to the left, at least 6 cars lengths away. I started to merge and he decided it hurt his feelings I guess? He sped up, drove into opposing traffic to get beside me and push me out of the lane - The majority of my car was already in the left lane. Then, at the next light where he was turning left, he had the audacity to unnecessarily stop beside me and give me the finger and wag his tongue out like a 2 year old. I have dash cam footage. The men on this company’s downtown Ottawa crew need to have their company vehicle privileges taken away. One star based on how they treat people on the road.

Takes forever for a repair person to come and more often than not the next day the problem reoccurs... never fixed right the first time. I have never experienced such poor working elevators. The building is only 6 yrs old! We are so annoyed that we are looking to move. ( and this time we will make sure the elevators are from a different company). They should be sued by the condo corps that pay them.
