  We had an empty, 18 ft. long alcove in our living room that just served no purpose and really forced an odd arrangement of the room. We hired Matt to construct a wall-to-wall custom built-in with a fire place and now we have a gorgeous feature wall. Our experience working with Matt was nothing short of excellent. He was responsive to our questions, easy to communicate with, and kept us informed every step of the way. Our built-in is a true reflection of our taste and style because we were able to choose so many custom details, big and small. And when we couldn’t decide, Matt was able to offer advice based on his many years of experience. Our project was done on-time and every night Matt left the house in great shape; all his tools were put away and all the debris and dust was cleaned up - it was like we weren’t living through a construction project! We can’t wait to do another project and we know we’ll absolutely be hiring Matt again!

  Matt did an outstanding job with our bedroom refinishing project. Craftsmanship, attention to detail and communication were all top notch. He went the extra mile and we’re so pleased with how everything turned out. We have already locked Matt in for a walk-in closet project and kitchen update.

  We chose Matt to build us custom linen closet shelving. He was awesome to work with, quick install with no mess and very precise work. He makes home projects less stressful with his knowledge and honest pricing. I would recommend Millar Genuine Craft for any job little to large.

  Matt from Genuine Craft was hired to complete a 1200 square foot basement renovation consisting of a large bar, gas fireplace and washroom. The workmanship to the installation of shiplap, 7 1/2” baseboard, 12’ bar , cabinetry in the washroom was perfect. Matt was onsite daily and complete the project per the original schedule and the original quoted cost. We were so happy with the basement renovation that we hired Genuine craft to complete the renovation of the master bathroom. Again the completion was beyond our expectations. Anyone looking for any type of home renovation should consider Genuine Craft as you will not be disappointed. Graeme & Julie Morris

  We chose mgcraft for our bathroom renovation and we couldn’t have made a better decision!!! From the initial meeting to discuss the quote, Matt was very detailed and helped provide suggestions and feedback to design the most beautiful bathroom! Matt was very professional, respectful and personable. He was very neat and cleaned up every day, it was as though there was no renovation being done in our home! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to remodel any space in their home. We now have our dream bathroom and could not be happier!!!
