Reliance Home Comfort owns my hot water tank but not my furnace, they swindled me into adding parts and labour onto the furnace for $14.99 a month, they tried with plumbing and electrical also but declined those luckily. They came to diagnose my furnace after advertising 24/7 service, they didn't come until the next day. I was told they ordered a control board but could not give me a time frame, days went by with me calling to get updates and they refused to give me an ETA even after escalating it to their parts department in 4 days unless I called, it's December and -25 outside, they don't care. I called Comfort Pro on a Tuesday to get a second opinion and they were able to source the part within 2 days and switch out the faulty control board. They went out of their way for somebody new, not even an existing customer and still pushed to fix it as fast as possible. I plan to remove the Reliance hot water tank in 2 years (7 year commitment) and buy a hot water tank through Comfort Pros as well as a maintenance plan for my Furnace/Air Conditioner and Fireplace on a yearly basis. Avoid Reliance Home Comfort at all costs! If you buy your house like I did, go out and buy your own hot water tank don't let the builder pawn off anything Reliance to you and go with a local company like Comfort Pro for the hot water tank and get a parts and labour plan on the furnace and hot water tank. Can't say enough good things about Comfort Pro. I can't thank you enough.
