  We first hired Mark for a property line survey in 2020. This work was to support an easement dispute. He did this job very well and earned a five-star review. We hired Mark again in 2024 to identify a recent encroachment on that easement. Despite giving him a clear written request of what we wanted from his survey, it still took one month of emails, texts and phone calls to get an exhibit that showed the encroachment. He never provided what we wanted, but we had what we needed. This was a three-star performance. We tried to hire Mark a third time to place physical flags or stakes at the start and end of the encroachments. I could tell from his statements that he wasn’t comfortable doing this knowing we would be taking down the encroachments on our own. I assured him that we had consulted with our attorney and were following his instructions. He also had issues with the small scope of work and travel time required. Mark, if you are reading this, you have the right to turn down work. Please don’t ask me to schedule directly with your field guy (he and I both felt this was odd). Then cancel the job three days later, the night before the survey was to occur. Cussing me out on the phone then hanging up was the unprofessional icing on the cake. I can’t recommend this company today. Four years ago, they were great. I have given a three star average from my three interactions with this company.
