After quotes from multiple companies for anywhere between $60-90,000 to do windows and a door on the home Window World came back with an actual acceptable quote! WAY less money for what is essentially the same product. Made in the USA. It has radically changed the feel and thermal efficiency of the house. The original windows were from 1976 and desperately needed to be replaced. The installation team was amazing, even with holidays and inclement weather they did a great installation with zero mess. If I ever need windows again 10/10 I will be calling window world. Finally comfy in my own home! I’m already seeing dramatic changes on energy and gas bills after the install and my sunroom is useable again!!

The quote looked reasonable at first, but once itemized, it included several charges that didn't make sense for a standard window replacement: say free quote but a $250 administration fee, high tempered-glass fees, and an extra charge for the Low-E/ Argon package that most companies include at no cost. They tried to charge me extra for tempered glass on my front windows by saying it was an 'international code' requirement. The code only requires tempered glass in certain locations for safety - it does not justify the extra markup they added. Another company quoted me similar window specs with Low-E/ Argon, tempered glass where required, composite reinforcement, screens, and trim pieces already included, without any of these extra fees. These add-ons increased the price by thousands compared to other installers offering similar products. I prefer companies that are more transparent with pricing and don't rely on unnecessary fees. Homeowners should make sure they understand every line item before signing. And while the quality of the window itself matters, industry standards show that about 80% of the final performance comes from the installer's skill and only about 20% from the window product. Transparent pricing and a skilled installation crew matter just as much as the brand name on the window.

Window World installs replacement windows year-round. An average installation will take only one day. Our crews install one window at a time and are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. The energy savings from your new windows will recover any incremental energy costs incurred during their installation many times over during their lifetime.
How can I prepare my house for my replacement windows?
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
How long will it take to get my replacement windows? How much time should I allow for the installation?
