    After having another HVAC company come several times to fix my heater problem, I called Arther’s. Dustin Hogue was my tech; he showed up promptly, was very professional, and fixed my heater within an hour…still working!!!

    Huge thank you to Brett Jackson at Arthur's ! The blower fans on our mini split units were absolutely filthy affecting their performance and adding $ to utility bills. When he finished they honestly worked like new plus he fixed a drainage issue from a previous install from a different company. Couldn't be more satisfied. VERY HIGHLY recommend ! 5 stars isn't enough

    What a wonderful company. Our central heating system stopped heating on Friday afternoon. Within two hours of calling, service was at our door. The technician thoroughly checked the whole system. He discussed three options with us and we chose the cheapest. However, with the service plan we purchased, the company will do two routine maintenance visits each year and they have put in their records to specifically check two parts which seem to be nearing the end of service life. The most interesting thing was their service plan ($189 a year). They give you $150 credit for each year, up to $1,250, to go toward your next unit, and since everyone knows heat/ac systems fail after ten years, if you're lucky, having that money will certainly be helpful. Our technician was Dustin and he was great.

    I really wanted to have a good experience with Arthur’s, but unfortunately the service fell far short of expectations. I scheduled a furnace repair on Monday, and the earliest appointment they had was Wednesday between 12:00–4:00 PM. By 2:45 PM on Wednesday, I still hadn’t heard from anyone, so I called the office for an update. I was told the technician was still on the previous job but “should be heading my way soon,” and that they would contact me if he couldn’t make it in the scheduled window. That call never came. At 4:30 PM, I called again and was told the tech was still on the prior job and would be at least another 90 minutes. My call was escalated to a manager, who apologized and offered a $40 discount on parts for the inconvenience (even though I'm pretty sure that information was never passed along to the service technician). He also said he would try to send a different technician to arrive within 45 minutes. Thirty minutes later, I received a call from the originally assigned technician, who said he was on the way—about 45 minutes out. He finally arrived an hour later at 6:00 PM (two hours past the appointment window), though to his credit, he was polite and able to diagnose the problem with my furnace. He told me he’d contact his parts supplier on Thursday and let me know the cost of the replacement part. Again, that call was never received, and Thursday came and went with no update. Friday arrived—still nothing. At this point, I shouldn't have to chase down a company to do business with them, and my confidence in their reliability has really deteriorated. The technician who came out was professional, but the lack of communication, repeated delays, and failure to follow up afterward left me extremely unimpressed. I’m now hesitant to move forward with them at all. Communication and reliability go a long way in customer service. You can do better Arthur's! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE: Four days after the initial service call, Arthur’s finally contacted me with a repair quote of $1,081.60 (including an $80 discount). In the meantime, I took the initiative to research the issue myself. I was able to locate the exact replacement part needed for $148.99 on Amazon ($158.76 after tax). The repair involved removing three screws, swapping the part, and reinstalling it. The entire process took less than 15 minutes and immediately resolved the issue. While I understand that professional services include labor, overhead, and warranty considerations, the quoted price was extremely excessive given the simplicity of the repair and the readily available part. Combined with the scheduling delays, missed communication, and slow follow-up, this final quote confirmed my decision not to proceed with Arthur’s for this or any future repair work. I hope this information is helpful to others when deciding whether to use Arthur’s Air Conditioning Service.
