Schmidt Storm Shelters was founded in 1957 by our father and grandfather Glade Schmidt. 64 years later it is still family owned with the legacy being carried on by Glade’s son and grandson, Randy and Joel.

So when I noticed it filled with inches of water each time it rained, I reached out to see if they could fix it. They came once or twice and tried to fix it, but eventually they just quit answering or returning my calls. My husband finally fixed it with an afternoon's worth of work. Would have been much happier if they even acknowledged my calls.
