  Called on Monday was told they would be by sometime on Tuesday to look at the heater. They never showed up. So, we called Wednesday, and we were told they had two businesses that had to be done first, but that they should be there sometime in the afternoon. They showed up glanced at the heater and said “oh that’s an old heater” then said the cover panel that was on it wasn’t for this heater. They said that we should all be dead due to carbon monoxide poisoning, and that they were surprised the heater didn’t blow up because it didn’t have the correct cover. They also told me I didn’t have a carbon monoxide detector, but when I told them I did have one, and that it works they were shocked it wasn’t going off. Instead of checking for anything being wrong, or checking the carbon monoxide levels they said they couldn’t look at it because it didn’t have the cover, and said they didn’t want to charge me because they didn’t do anything, but that they had to for the paperwork. So, they charged me $108 for an hour even though they weren’t in my house more than 10 minutes just to tell me they couldn’t do anything, and that I needed to buy a whole new furnace, and AC system. They also mentioned it would be $500-600 to clean the dust out of the heater since the cover wasn’t the proper one. We called Kemph heating and air for a second opinion. We called at 9:15am, and they were here by 10:15am the same day. They spent time actually looking at it, turning it on, and found out the issue of why the heater wasn’t running properly when set to auto it was only running when it’s switched to on due to a capacitor being broken. Kemph not only diagnosed the issue, checked the carbon monoxide levels, but went above and beyond and found a cover panel for it, and replaced the control board. Don’t waste your time, or money with Michael’s call Kemph!
