  Great job guys! Cosmo and his team did an extensive re-do of one driveway and a re-surface of another one nextdoor for me. Both turned out incredibly. Both had challenges and they handled them with ease. Had some weather delays, but not their fault. These guys do a kick-ass job. Highly recommended.

  I want to share with you the experience my wife and I have had with Steel Valley Paving and Concrete. In June 2021 we sought estimates to have a 17' x 20' stamped and colored concrete patio installed. We received a few quotes and decided to go with Steel Valley as they were the lowest bid, unfortunately that was our mistake. The craftsman said he wanted a $2,000.00 deposit, so we gave him a check for that amount. It was cashed a few days after receiving it. The whole job was quoted at $3,700.00. That was then and to this day work has never begun. It has now been just short of a full year since originally contracted. After repeated attempts trying to get the company to begin the job, it has not. We asked for a refund for non-service, but the company's stance is that they do not give refunds. We were told if we canceled the job that our deposit would be forfeited. In attempt to solve this issue, we sought help with the Mahoning County mediators, a free service to use and find a resolution prior to filing a claim in court. Steel Valley Paving and Concrete told the mediator that they still intend to complete the work. The mediator’s office gave a reference number to use in the advent a claim is made in court. This was roughly six months ago. To date, there still has not been any communications received from the company. When there were communications with the company I found them to be consistently unprofessional, rude, unorganized, false promises made, and full of excuses as to why work has not begun. This has been an unfortunate experience for both of us.
