Installation issues that needed be repaired after and took months to get fixed. I had them install windows in my house years ago at a much better price; however, installation was poor and the warranty was no longer "lifetime" when they were bought by Great Day Improvements. I had to replace my poorly installed slider with Pella when it was no longer "fixed" twice a year under the warranty. Would not recommend.

- LRLenny RauscherJun 10, 20195.0A few years ago - Stanek was purchased by Great Day Improvements. Shortly after the purhcase, I had 1 Stanek window that needed to be fixed (lifetime warranty). However, the warranty was not honored based on the purchase and the service/repair experience was terrible from Great Day and the service technician. They didn't fix the window, stated I needed to buy a new one and nothing was resolved. I had to call again recently because I was having issues with 2 windows now and it needed to get resolved, so I reluctantly called and was ready for a battle. However, no such battle occurred - Service technician scheduled quickly, technician onsite was nice and did a great job. For $75 to fix the 2 windows - I would do it again without hesitation. What I learned recently, Great Day now honors most of the warranty (if that mechanism of the window can be fixed) for a $75 service charge. I feel much better about a good product I purchased several years ago and knowing Great Day is providing good service too.

Both times replacement windows were provided with no questions asked and in a very timely manner. Bernard Fay, the gentleman who came out today, did a wonderful job in a short amount of time. Not only did he do a great job, he was personable and a credit to the company. I would recommend Stanek Windows without a doubt!
