- RTRobert T.Aug 28, 20201.0I ordered a kitchen window from Stanek, made a 50% downpayment, and patiently waited for its manufacture. My order was subsequently confused with someone else's. That was cleared up, but after manufacture, the window was temporarily lost in transit. After it was found, I made an appointment for installation, but Stanek later cancelled this, explaining that the parts were unavailable. After the parts became available, another appointment for installation was made, but the installer never showed up. My window was finally installed the next week, but I was told by the installer that a co-worker had accidentally poked a hole in the top of the screen. Then I had to deal with that. It took 7 months to get this window installed to my satisfaction from the time my order was placed. I fully realize now what a mistake it was to contract with Stanek.
