Damian was great, he explain in a simple way to me why it was shutting down and fix the issue that I had since Winter with resetting my boiler constantly. I will definitely keep using them as my go to with any issues with my heating. Schar heating & cooling has a new customer for sure!
- ACAubrey Collins6 days ago2.0We had a very concerning experience with this company. My nana, who is on a fixed income, called them out for a furnace issue. She was told her system was “old” and needed to be replaced. In reality, her furnace is from 2020. They then tried to claim the heat exchanger was going bad and continued pushing a full replacement. After getting a second opinion, we found the issue was simply a bad control board—and the part was actually under warranty. The only cost should have been labor, not hundreds of dollars. On top of that, there were billing issues. They took a check from my nana even after we called ahead and specifically told them we would be paying instead. We requested an emailed invoice and never received one, and attempts to resolve payment through us have gone unanswered. This experience felt misleading and poorly handled, especially given they were dealing with an elderly customer. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major repairs or replacements with this company.
