My issue came about when I had some contractors install some new gas lines in my basement. They removed some old ductwork to get to the gas lines then replaced with new ductwork but failed to cut an opening for the air to flow through the return vent to the furnace. They basically blocked it completely. My furnace sounded like a jet engine. I couldn’t get ahold of the contractor as it was after 5:00 on Friday so I called Schar and explained what happened. Seth from Schar arrived within the hour. He ran some diagnostics and quickly figured out what the problem was. He removed the ductwork, cut a proper opening in it for the air to flow through and replaced it back. Seth was very friendly and professional, very knowledgeable and had things running properly very quickly.

It was freezing outside, snowing and the roads weren’t clear, but Luke came on a Saturday night with a friendly attitude and helped us figure it out. We had no heat for all those hours and were so thankful when the heat turned on. Excellent customer service and response. Would highly recommend them.
