Unfortunately an extremely disappointing customer service experience with this company. Ordered a shower door from a nightmare supplier that is not the fault of Hudson Glass. The door was supposed to take 4-5 weeks, ended up taking 15 weeks and the first door sent was entirely the wrong measurements so a second had to be ordered.
I asked Hudson Glass to reach out on my behalf to inquire re: a discount for the supplier's error. Was told by Amy that the supplier said no. Found out later they never actually asked. Spoke with Joe who said "we can't ask for discounts, that's bad business". I assumed taking quadruple the time & sending an incorrect product is also bad business. We asked for our order number so we could contact the company ourselves and they declined to provide the info.
Contacted the company myself anyway and was told the reason for the extreme delay and the reason the first door was sent with the entirely wrong measurements was because "customer changed the width of the door". I never changed anything regarding the door, the order was always the same. No one is willing to take the blame for measuring incorrectly or making an incorrect product, and instead chose to blame the customer.
Communication also was lacking. There were several times I sent e-mails regarding updates that were never responded to, and I had to then reach out a second time. I don't feel like the customer needs to be the one chasing for information. The entire situation was frustrating for both them and I, but I felt they absolutely didn't want to deal with me until they had no other choice.
The product I ended up receiving the second time was as expected and installed fine. I have no doubt that if you placed an order with them and everything went smoothly, it would be a great experience. Unfortunately a mistake was made somewhere with no accountability, I was not told the truth several times and if you do have an issue with a bad supplier, they are absolutely not on the side of the customer.
Edited to add after company response: Absolutely some issues were beyond your control as I stated. However, my issues were also with no one taking accountability for measuring wrong/making the wrong door and instead I as the customer was blamed as if I just simply wanted a different door. The supplier personally stated to me the reason for the delay was "the customer changed the width of the door". Absolutely not the case.
Yes, I was offered a ~$40 discount on a $6000 purchase and after we declined that inappropriate discount, he was offered a $200 discount. At that point, we did decline as we just wanted to be done with the poor experience. The main issue lied in being told no discount was offered when in reality, they never asked for one on our behalf.

I just had the best experience at Hudson Glass. I went in there for a new mirror for a beautiful frame I had that have been broken and Joe replaced the mirror on the spot within minutes. He was also kind enough to not charge me an installation fee walked it out to the car for me as well. Along with giving me a free sample of glass cleaner when I told him I was also a small business owner who cleans houses. I was blown away at his kindness and hospitality!!
