We just bought our first home, so I called them to have our Brazilian cherry wood floors redone on the first floor. Floyd came out as soon as possible, was very knowledgeable, and got right to work. With our wood being exotic, I wanted to pick someone who knew what they were doing, and this was the place to call. Floyd gave me a time frame and ended up finishing and starting earlier than expected, which was great for us! The other two men who were with him (Jason and I think the other was Rusty?) did a phenomenal job and had great craftsmanship. These guys have been doing this for a long time and they really know what they’re doing. I am happy we did this prior to moving in because our entire first floor is hardwood, and it would’ve been difficult to do if we waited and had furniture. My biggest concern with our hardwood floors was how red they were. Floyd helped me pick the perfect top coat of polyurethane and it made our floors look AMAZING! We first discussed staining them, but this particular wood doesn’t absorb stain very well unless it’s very dark, which we didn’t want. We discussed different techniques to potentially lighten the wood, but there were too many cons for this. I’m glad I was able to discuss this with them and they gave me their honest opinions instead of just doing it for their financial benefit. I thought their quote was fair and honest considering the first floor was over 2000 sqft of Brazilian cherry wood. They are the best in the business! My family and I highly suggest them.
