  I was driving behind 2 of these trucks today on 534 northbound between Larson West and Clark Rd. at 30-35 mph for quite some distance. I kept nosing out to look for a safe and legal opportunity to pass and all I could see in front of me was the two Southwind trucks and oncoming traffic. I FINALLY had a legal and clear place to pass so I turned on my turn signal, accelerated pretty hard, and at exactly the same time I moved into the oncoming lane so did the first Southwind truck, revealing why we were going 35 mph in a 55 mph zone...there was a pikkemup truck pulling a farm trailer in front of all of us, which was not visible at any time until that first Southwind (SW) truck went to pass it. So, I continued to pass the SECOND SW truck directly in front of me and was literally alongside it and the driver of the second SW truck shot over to pass that pikkemup truck pulling the farm trailer as well, WITHOUT EVEN GLANCING IN HIS REARVIEW MIRROR!! I laid on my horn and had to take extremely aggressive evasive action by slamming on my brakes and moving further over into the other lane's shoulder while the imbecile in front of me didn't even HINT AT stopping his overtaking of the pikkemup truck pulling the farm trailer or touching his brakes. Just the opposite, in fact...he CONTINUED into the lane I was already in alongside his truck AND CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE!!! That driver nearly ran me and the two female passengers off the opposite side of the road into the ditch and didn't so much as even TOUCH his brakes or MAKE EVEN THE SLIGHTEST ATTEMPT OF AVOIDING SMASHING INTO THE SIDE OF MY TRUCK EVEN THOUGH THERE'S NO POSSIBLE WAY HE DIDN'T BY THEN REALIZE I WAS BESIDE HIM PASSING HIM AS I ALWAYS DRIVE WITH MY LED HEADLIGHTS AND FOG LIGHTS ON AND MY HORN WAS BLARING AWAY!!! IT WAS LITERALLY AS IF HE FULLY INTENDED TO RUN ME OFF THE ROAD!! Now, I want to make it clear, I ALWAYS attempt to make eye contact with other drivers in the event I'm about to overtake, turn into a road, prior to leaving a stop sign, etc., to ensure that the other driver knows my intention and that I know he/she sees me, and so I can ascertain HIS/HER intentions. As I began to pass that second SW truck I immediately looked at his driver's side mirror and NOT ONCE did he even GLANCE at his mirror before shooting out and almost running me into the ditch. He DID, however, look in his mirror as I laid on my horn and was taking evasive action to avoid being killed by him and he didn't even HINT at changing course, rather, HE COMMITTED FULLY TO CONTINUING TO OVERTAKE THE PIKKEMUP TRUCK WHILE HE WAS RUNNING ME OFF THE ROAD!!! The awesome thing about this whole thing? I have downloaded the video from my dashcam AND HAVE PROOF!! THAT "MAN" (BULLY) NEEDS TO BE IN PRISON!! Well, my apologies, while my dashcam saves everything in 3 minute videos, for some reason when I uploaded it only 30 seconds is there with a major loss of picture and the incident about 2:00-2:30 into the 3:00 video. I'll try to figure out what went wrong and post it as EVERYONE SHOULD SEE HOW THESE DRIVERS BULLY OTHER VEHICLES ON THE ROAD AND DON'T GIVE A HOOT ABOUT THE LIVES OF OTHER PEOPLE ON THE ROADS.

  Southwind went above and beyond to get us water 11 years ago. His extra work, long experience in our area and great advice produced great water for us. Our old well had very fine silt in it, incredibly hard to remove from the water even with the most expensive systems. The solution of a new well was the best decision we have ever made and Brian is the best well driller I know or have heard of. You might have to get in line though, his reputation is fantastic and well known.

  Our well pump died and the plumber gave us a referral to Southwind. We called, left a very specific message - twice - and they never returned our call. Classy. We were without water and desperate and they couldn't be bothered to return our call.
