  I bought my home in north mentor 4 years ago and it’s been a labor of love. I’ve hired half a dozen or more contractors for various projects inside and out. Silver Lining Exteriors is the most professional, punctual and skilled group that I’ve worked with bar none. I hired them to tear off and replace my siding, roof and gutters. As the project progressed so did the scope. They removed an awning off my front door, extended my roof line on the front and back of my house by 6” to accommodate a more robust gutter installation, replaced a bathroom window and covered a redundant garage window, reinforced rotten wood under my front door and helped me navigate various complexities with the electric company where my new siding meets the meter. The various extras were all reasonably priced and perfectly executed. They could have ignored or covered these things up but instead, they pointed them out and addressed them so I could affordably make my home a safer place to live. The work they did is beautiful. I could not be happier and cannot recommend them enough. I’m already in talks with SLE for my next interior project and various exterior jobs. All the employees they had on site did awesome work. I am using their electrician for a completely unrelated job right now. Their crews were friendly, prompt, clean and skilled. If you need large or small interior or exterior work done in the Lake County and surrounding areas, Silver Lining Exteriors is as solid a firm as you will find anywhere. Both Mickey and Nick are consummate professionals and just generally good dudes. 5 Stars 10/10 highly recommend.   Silver Lining Exteriors were a blessing to work with. They were not only fairly priced, professional, as well as the working members, took pictures of the beginning, working stage and completed stage. I will definitely refer them.

  SLE did a great job repairing my garage from a large fallen tree limb. They were easy to communicate with and gave me a reasonable estimate. The repairs were done in a timely manner. I was very happy with the end result.

  We had a front porch and roof added to the house, the Silver Lining team was fast, friendly and clean. The job was completed timely and the team kept me up to date on the progress. Even with some mix ups on the gutter, the issue was resolved quickly.

  Where to begin...first off we were in need of an entire exterior remodel which included siding, doors, windows and gutters. We did our due diligence and met with several companies in the area for estimates and all sent very professional representatives. We even had estimates done with separate companies for each part of our project to see if that might benefit us in overall costs. Have to admit we were a bit burned out at the end with the number of estimates we had done and we said Silver Linings would be the last company we would talk to and then would make a decision. Mickey who is co-owner of Silver Linings came out to the house and we presented to him what we wanted (our vision). He was on board from the get go and said "We can do that!" He then showed us some work of what his team had done similar to what we had in mind, and then got down to business measuring the windows and doors. Never felt pressured or got a sales pitch during the entire time he was here! We heard back from him a few days later with a quote and that along with the good vibe we had from our meeting we knew they were the company for us! Flash forward to the project happening and we were just as impressed with his crew....very professional and they got to work right away. Showed up on time and put in a full day's work! Took about two and a half days for the main portion of the project to be completed. At one point we walked out into our yard to look at the progress and we were just awe struck at how they brought our vision to life right off the page of our drawing we presented at the first meeting (see pic)! One of the things that stood out the most to us was what Mickey said over and over throughout the project was "We want you to be 100% satisfied!" They nailed it! We are 100% satisfied!
