  Joe came out to fix the clog in our kitchen sink. He was very friendly and polite. He assessed the problem and provided a clear explanation on how to fix the clogged line, which had been a recurring problem. We had other plumbers come out in the past, that had charged more, and in the end did not resolve the problem. Joe later called on Chris for assistance, to help fix the problem created by another plumber. They never lost patience, and stayed late into the evening until the problem was resolved. They thoroughly cleaned up once finished. I would definitely use Roto-Rooter again.

  Plumber was out just over an hour & fixed my backed basement drain & while out paid alittle more since on the call to run my sewer too. Worth it going into the winter to know basement drains/sewer lines clear. Ohio weather sux & melted snow always brings my old house trouble.

  Plumber sent was friendly, polite, and helpful with addressing our issue. He was knowledgeable and provided a proper solution. However, work quote was way overpriced but due to the nature of our issue, I didn’t have the flexibility to allow the issue not to be addressed. However, while the plumber was a great person, his actual fixes do not represent the price we paid. Issue 1, I was told not to ever take apart the P trap under a kitchen sink. He struggled putting it back together with it not leaking. There was nothing complex with the P trap as I had previously taken it apart and reassembled without any difficulty. Issue 2, he had to replace a long section of PVC in an unfinished basement. Rather than dry fitting then final assembly, he glued one end then worked towards the other end. Since it was already glued at the one end he had to cut a section that was over his head between floor joists. It was far from a square cut. Issue 3, he left a pile of pipe waste on our basement floor. Think this was honest mistake because by this point I think he was behind schedule and was in a hurry to get to the next appointment. Based on the price alone, I will no longer be doing any further business with Roto Rooter. Talked to several knowledgeable people, all felt the price seemed excessive.

  After a surprisingly large toilet leak, we gave Roto-Rooter a call and they sent Joe over right away. Joe was awesome. He was professional, thorough, and extremely helpful. He got the problem diagnosed quickly and walked through the repair options with me. Once we aligned on the best solution, he made quick work of the repair and left the bathroom looking good as new. He also provided some advice with regards to other household plumbing. We’ll definitely be reaching out Roto-Rooter for any future needs!
