- CPCassie PeytonOct 6, 20251.0I would not recommend Carroll’s Carpets. The owner, Tracy, is unprofessional, argumentative, and arrogant. I wish I had read the reviews before shopping here — many others have had similar experiences. The initial carpet install seemed fine, but the floor squeaked because the subfloor wasn’t nailed down first. Calls went unanswered. A year later, when new flooring was installed by another company, we discovered the carpet hadn’t even been laid to the edge of the old floor, leaving a one-inch gap. When I called Carroll’s to ask about stretching the carpet, Tracy immediately became defensive and argumentative instead of offering help. Clearly, customer service and accountability are not priorities here. I’ve since found professional, trustworthy flooring contractors I’d gladly recommend instead.

They let us take home as many samples as we wanted and, when we made our selections, promptly sent out a staff member to measure and give us a quote. The carpet arrived in short order and Carroll’s set an appointment for installation. The installers were very pleasant to work with, moved furniture, and expertly installed beautiful Karastan carpeting on a stairway and in a bedroom. Start to finish: less than a month. Very happy to recommend Carroll’s Carpets!
