We called Vern Hahn Ellsworth to request a service call and they sent out Jeff P. to diagnose the problem. He bled all the lines which had not ever been done since our Combo Boiler was installed. Jeff was willing and eager to do whatever was needed to restore our heat. He decided to go home bc it was getting late and return Friday evening and try to get the heat back on. When he left, my son realized there was no hot water. I called the on call technician who contacted Jeff and he came over immediately and quickly restored the hot water. He told us that service technicians do not work on weekends. On Monday the Company tried to send out Jeff P. but I missed their call so we were able to get a service call from Jeff P. and Paul Kuchta on Tuesday at 12/30pm. Our heat was completely restored Tuesday night by 12/30am to 73 degrees. Toasty! I can't say enough for Jeff P and his colleague Paul Kuchta. They are doing unthinkable work this winter. They are dealing with the most brutal temperatures. Also, Jeff P. has the patience of a saint.

- ESErine StamesDec 30, 20255.0Jeff P. from Verne & Ellesworth Hann, Inc. came by today to look at a plumbing vent pipe in the attic that’s leaking. He was very courteous and professional. This is an ongoing project, but the previous work they did on another section of the pipe (old cast iron) is holding up perfectly. (We’ve been tackling this 115 yr old pipe piecemeal, as the parts corrode)
