  Preferred Home Comfort did an excellent job replacing our furnace and AC systems. Keith and Tim arrived on time, walked us through the plan before getting started, and completed the job exactly as promised. The work was efficient, everything was explained clearly, and they left the area spotless—no trace they were even here except for the brand-new system. Highly recommend Preferred Home Comfort for all HVAC needs.

  Preferred home comfort came to my house on 11/24 for a furnace check and tune up for $99. The tech looked at my humidifier and said I needed a new filter and put it back together. We were away for thanksgiving and while we were away my basement carpet got soaked from a humidifier leak (see photos). I called and asked them to come fix it - the owner told me they would charge me for a trip and it was not their fault. He also told me they are not responsible for any work they do once it is finished - he actually said to me a week was too long for them to be responsible. Be very aware of this if you choose to have them come out to your house. These people are nuts. Update: Their response is dishonest. They did not tell me they would come look and only charge me if it was their fault - he said I would be charged if they came out at all. They were the only people to touch the humidifier and *I noticed* the leak 48 hours later. The owner thinks its pure coincidence - he thought they should not be responsible for their work after they leave. He told me so on the phone. This is all comical, because it could have easily been avoided had they come fixed their mistake. Probably would have taken 10 minutes for a tech. Instead I write this long review and hopefully someone reads this and calls another business instead.

  Preferred Home Comfort was fairly priced for the work and product. The new system installed was better quality with a couple extra features for way less than the "big companies". I recommend getting three quotes and ensure Preferred Comfort is one of them.
