  I was more than pleased and very happy with the professional work that was done today by Precision Plumbing the installation of my hot water heater went outstanding the guys went over and above they were very pleasant very clean made sure their tracks were clean just an awesome job thank you very much appreciate it

  They were quick and did a good job, my only complaint is they didn't call ahead of time like they said they would. However, they did arrive on the early side of the expected time frame

  I replaced my water heater through Home Depot installation services. Precision Plumbing handled my instillation and it was a great experience. The installer was very attentive and answered all my questions. He was considerate of my concerns regarding the location of the expansion tank and did a great job of keeping it out of my way. I am happy with the instillation and would consider using Precision Pluming for future work.

  TLDR; I THINK I had a horrible experience with this company and I did NOT even receive service from them!! - 5 different text numbers were involved - The COMPANY changed mid contact - Their automated system scheduled me without my input and then their technician arrived about 2 hours early WITHOUT informing me beforehand - I was quoted over 2.5x the labor fee of 2 other companies - I asked for an itemized estimate and received a flat generic fee - I have strong reason to believe they are using AI in their business model. Am I paying 2.5x labor costs for your subscription services???? My water pipes froze this Friday morning and so I was reaching out to various companies. Precision Plumbing and Air was the first company who confirmed with me that they had available equipment for thawing my pipes and they came out for a quote. Initially I texted the number provided on Google inquiring of services and I was texted back from a different number (which I think is an automated message) asking for my contact details. Then a 3rd number texted me saying my appointment was set.... I didn't even discuss with them any availability on my end and I am currently at work! So I had to quickly make arrangements for my partner to take an extended lunch break to be there and meet them. I received a text that they would be arriving on time (about 2hrs before the appointment time). But ~30min later I got a call I couldn't answer because I was in a meeting. So I texted that NEW number (seems to be the actual technician) and updated them my brother would be there when they arrived (as I wasn't sure if my partner would be as they were calling earlier then the appointment time). However they were ALREADY on site and had done their assessment! So I wasn't even updated they would be arriving early like I thought I was. I had made arrangements for the time THEY scheduled without MY approval and they arrived nearly 2hrs too early! That is so confusing and difficult. Anyways, I was able to get my partner in contact with them and he left work early to meet them at our house. They quoted us $2,500 for exclusively thawing the pipes. No damages were found that needed repairing. They said it would take 6-8 hours ($315+/hr) and that any damages or needed repairs would be additional costs. My partner asked if the service was performed in only 6 hours, would we be paying less. He said no. We asked for an itemized quote. We got a general flat rate fee with no itemization of services, like we asked for, to better understand what we would be paying for (ex. if we had additional fees due a rush/emergency service, crawlspace fees, etc.) We ended up declining the service and found another plumber who made us feel much more comfortable in their knowledge and didn't even charge us as they couldn't assist due to equipment restraints. They were going to charge $125/hr (well worth it) but instead they showed us how to do it ourselves, what we need to get, etc. Other super confusing things about this which led to me writing this review: - Who is Mammoth Plumbing? They have their own whole other website and Google space. Was I even in contact with the people I initially tried to receive service from???? - I feel some of (if not most of) those responses I received in text were written by chatgpt due to their speech pattern. Either case it was at minimum automated in various ways which made this very confusing. 4 different numbers for one company! It was so hard trying to keep this all straight while also asking other companies for quotes and availability due to being a Friday evening in below freezing temperatures!
