- GLGina Lowe3 days ago4.0I give them a 4 because the company employees in the office itself has pleasant caring people that work with you on an issue but certain technicians from there aren’t very desirable. They replaced my furnace because I was on a program so I didn’t have to pay any thing and I’m grateful for that but there is a rattling in my furnace while it’s running and a different tech came out to check it out & told me it was because I had the filter plate on backwards I figured it was trial and error on my part with the new furnace and to get the heat to flow through all my vents I needed to close off certain vents in other rooms and keep all the doors open to my bedrooms. There was nothing wrong with my furnace. I can see where that might make sense but the bedrooms should stay warm whether the doors are open or shut. Maybe I’m wrong about that but anywho he said I don’t know what to tell you. They are sending out a different tech because I still have the rattling when the furnace is running

He was very thorough, kind, professional and knowledgeable. He problem- solved when needed and was very respectful of us and our home. He came on time and cleaned up everything before he left. This was our first experience with this company and we highly recommend it

- TKTony kDec 23, 20251.0Ace home services has gone way down hill since they bought Detmer in our area. The service is worst, the employees are complaining and stressed since they decreased staff. Ace seems like a terrible company. Since the take over ACE has fired or got rid of most of the back bone of the company to save money. Only the original owners seem to be still around, but I’m sure their time is limited too. Do not USE them. They only care about profit now and not the customers as Detmer used too. They are ineffective, inefficient and just overall terrible now please please please stay away. The old owner, Matt Detmer is just letting all of this happen and not caring. They are not a family company anymore. Do not use Ace home services! I will never come back to this company again.

We had previously paid for a maintenance contract, under which this visit was covered. He checked our system, which was working well, and explained what he had checked, which we appreciated. We appreciated also that he wore shoe covers. The whole visit was very professional. Recommended!
