I had a small water backup issue that required emergency attention. The leader Monica came out right away and was very professional and reassuring. She knew how to work with my insurance company and how to staff the job. Communication was excellent. I also appreciate the hard work of Lucas who came and did the heavy lifting and cleaning, then put everything back in its place.

I had a huge water leak that flooded my basement due to a main sewer line break in the middle of the street. I was told that they would help me but had to get a plumber in there first before they would drain my basement or do any work. I did the work myself didn't even need a plumber so thanks for saving me a bunch of money for your services. You won't get my business in the future should the need arise! Yes it was the Delaware office that I was connected to. I am well aware you are not a plumber I called YOUR company to remove the standing water in my basement. The reason I am not in your system is because YOUR company never even bothered to come out let alone take my information. The only reason I even called YOUR company was because my insurance company gave me a list and you were on it. So this review is completely accurate.

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had in the midst of a pipe busting. David is outstanding! His professionalism and attention to detail is second to none. He goes above and beyond to find innovative ways to make impossible situations possible. He and Edwin were reliable and such a pleasure to work with. They quickly became a part of the family! I highly recommend using PuroClean. The owner Jim is very personable and accessible and just an overall joy to work with and get Along with. I can’t say enough good things about everything they did to help us through such a stressful time! David was amazing at follow up throughout the entire project up until the very end and afterwards!
Frequently Asked Questions About PuroClean Restoration Specialists
How long does it take for drywall to dry?
The drying time for drywall varies depending on several factors. Generally, it can be restored to a dry state within two to three days, but this timeframe may differ based on the specific circumstances of each situation.
Do you clean water-damaged furniture?
Our ability to clean water-damaged furniture depends on the material and duration of exposure to moisture. We recommend moving furniture to a dry area or elevating it on blocks to initiate the drying process. Our team can provide a thorough assessment during an on-site inspection.
What should I do after a flood, sewage, or water leak?
Immediately contact a water damage restoration company like PuroClean. Promptly notify your insurance provider to initiate the claim process. If safe, turn off utilities to prevent further damage. Avoid entering structurally compromised areas, and do not walk through floodwater if electricity is still active. Exercise caution around potential contaminants.
What should I throw away after a fire?
Discard non-perishable food items exposed to heat, smoke, or firefighting chemicals, as well as perishable foods left at room temperature for extended periods. Refrigerated and frozen foods may be salvageable. Dispose of medicines, cosmetics, and burned clothing. Create an inventory of non-restorable items, including names, costs, and purchase dates, to support insurance claims. Photographic documentation is also beneficial.
How long will the fire restoration process take?
The duration of fire restoration varies based on the extent of damage. Local authorities and insurance agents typically need to investigate the site before restoration work can commence, which may affect the overall timeline.
What should I do with the water that was used to put out the fire?
Standing water can lead to additional issues such as mold growth. Professional restoration companies typically include water extraction as part of their fire restoration services to mitigate further damage.
Can I stay in my home during restoration?
The decision to remain in your home during restoration depends on the extent of damage, your property's configuration, and your personal comfort. Consult your insurance agent regarding potential coverage for alternative accommodations, such as hotels or off-site housing, which may be included in your policy.
What is involved in a fire damage restoration?
Fire damage restoration encompasses various processes, including smoke odor removal and deodorization to eliminate harmful toxins and lingering odors. We perform structural cleaning to restore the property to its pre-loss condition. Additionally, we offer contents pack-out and cleaning services, either on-site or at our facility, to address affected belongings.
What should I do if I find mold?
Mold requires moisture to thrive. Upon discovering mold, it's crucial to identify and eliminate the moisture source. We recommend professional mold removal, as improper handling can lead to rapid spread. Avoid using bleach and water solutions on mold, as this can potentially promote further growth.
