  I highly recommend Guaria Contractors to anyone who has asked about the work done on my house. Raul, the owner, was amazing every step of the process and very patiently worked with me to come up with a plan for my project that fit my budget, and was very reasonable with charges for extra work I requested after the price was agreed upon. I wanted to add on to my small house and due to several factors the most logical solution was to convert the low ceiling attic space into a living area. I saw the company vans outside of a house that had work done similar to what I had in mind, it turns out that it is owned by Raul (the address listed for the company) and he invited me over to show me inside. He was upfront with me that that type of project is more involved than his bread-and-butter roofing work, but he would he knows enough people in various trades to be able to do the work with the help of a few subcontractors and even let me hire a few subcontractors of my choice. He was reluctant to give me an concrete maximum cost for the job in writing, but gave a rough estimate of how much it could increase if any major problems were found after demolition began. This made me a little nervous, but in the end the only reason we went slightly over budget was the changes I had requested later. We ultimately ended up removing the roof, building up the walls by 6' and sloping up to a 8' ceiling giving us full use of the upstairs, extended out over the front porch, and capped off the chimney for the downstairs fireplace which was no longer safe to use. I was amazed with how quickly they worked, and were able to avoid any weather related damage when the roof was removed. We were able to continue living at home during the project with minimal inconvenience, even with my wife recovering from back surgery. Obviously for a project of this kind there were some minor problems along the way, but they stand by their work and very quickly addressed my concerns. One day I came home from work and they were completely redoing an area of siding they had installed because it wasn't level enough for them. (I didn't even notice!) I get compliments all the time from friends, family, neighbors, random passerbys, and the mailman on the improvement to the house.

  Guaria replaced our roof, siding and gutters. Raul was easy to work with and his crews did a great job. The works was done quickly and with great quality and a good price.
