But it was a shock to find out after my reservation (and driving an hour to get a tool) that there was a MANDATORY 15% insurance charge unless I have a rider from my insurance company with them as the payee for rental equipment. I could have gotten that had I known earlier. I heard this was a new policy, but if something is mandatory, it should be included in the online quote or price. (With a 15% discount if you have the insurance certificate) Not a hidden fee for an unwelcome surprise when you get there. No military discount. (Being active/reserves military, not just a Veteran, should be even more assurance that their equipment is safe and will be returned. If you can trust me with a government weapon and millions of dollars in military equipment and lives...you can probably trust me for a hand held tool. Maybe.) Ha!

I paid the bill and 3 weeks later they are telling me they cannot find the payment. They are holding up my final invoice payment on a large job. It has now been 2 days and no help to resolve the issue. Contractors beware. This is a large national company with a lot of red tape to deal with. You are not actually dealing with the local branch, you will be dealing with a big company. Maybe too big for their britches. Continued....Ultimately, they did take care of things. Major pain though.
