Joe is the man! Joe & his team did a phenomenal job bringing our kitchen cabinets back to life. I spent a long time researching the process & products needed for a factory like finish & Joe was the first company of several that actually had experience with 2K Poly-Acrylics. The price was fair & Joe is an absolute gentleman. Great communication/timeliness & cleaned up every day like he was working in his own house. Can’t recommend JNG enough!

I had a great experience with this painter. They were very professional, arrived on time, and completed the job exactly as promised. The quality of work was impressive, with smooth finishes and perfectly aligned edges. They paid attention to small details that made a big difference in the final look. The pricing was reasonable, and there were no hidden costs. Overall, the service was reliable and efficient, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing quality painting work.

It seems that every few months I get an email asking for a review of our experience with JNG Painting. The following is largely what was put in the email I sent several months after our cabinets were painted. Three of the pictures were taken right after the work was done and three less than a year after the work was completed.
We went with JNG for the project of painting our kitchen cabinets partially because of the wonderful reviews and partially because you assured us that the paint would be very durable. It is only my husband and myself that live in our home and we take great care to be as gentle with the cabinets as possible. While we understand that painted cabinets are quite different from the original factory finish, the amount of chipping and flaking is very bothersome. This started immediately after the work was done and continues. I supplied pictures with my email that showed the paint chipping all the way down to the original cabinet finish. Which leads us to believe that they were not sanded or primed correctly. The areas around some handles show quite a bit of chipping and wear as well. I even have felt bumpers on my vacuum head so it will not rub or bump into the quarter round trim.
We were also dismayed with the scratches in our new white oak floor and the way it was handled. The fact that they were scratched the first day, after I had mentioned that we would like extra care to be taken with them, was disheartening. We understand that accidents happen but the overall concern from you and your crew was less than desirable. We allowed you to try to fix them and that was a mistake on our part as the largest scratch now has a shine around the entire scratch from where you buffed and rubbed it. I look at this every day, and it makes me very upset. We spent close to $15k on the floors and I don’t remember an apology from either you or your crew; just the excuse that the shop vac had a broken wheel. Which is not what I believe really happened as I saw the drawers (metal drawer runners underneath) laid on the bare floor where the scratches occurred.
You came back to touch up some of the larger areas that were unfinished and missed at the end of the job, but it still did not address all the issues. We still have brush strokes that show the lighter primer underneath, there are still large drip marks, there are chips and areas missed during painting and the flaking paint under the countertops is still unacceptable, in my opinion. Being told after the fact that the caulk we had was not compatible with the paint is unprofessional. This obviously was not the first time you encountered this problem. We should have been told prior so we could decide if we wanted to replace the caulk or live with flaking paint.
The overall level of attention to detail by you and your workers does not seem to match the glowing reviews that you have, and I wonder why our project turned out less than stellar. Your bid was in the middle, and we took you at your word that it would turn out well. While we love the colors and the overall look of the kitchen, when we look closely, we question the choice we made.
Your response to my email was also, in my opinion, unprofessional. There was no further follow-up on your part, and you specifically stated, “On the chopping, we have had maybe 3 jobs that paint didn't want to stick to kick plates and shoe mold under cabinets. It was from a strange finish used prior.” Telling a customer that you have encountered this problem before, but not informing us of it prior, and then leaving us to live with it, is unacceptable. I feel that as the professional, you should be able to offer solutions, not ask the customer what needs to be done to make it right.
