  I absolutely love my roof! I have the best looking roof out here! The crew was amazing! Very respectful and clean. They spot cleaned my yard better than me!! I recommend these guys for all your exterior needs. They are the best!!!

  I recently had a roofing and siding project completed; the end result is great, the crew worked very well despite the weather conditions being less than optimal. Any questions I had were answered quickly, which is always appreciated. The pre work discussions were helpful and explained the process and how everything would look when completed. I was very happy with the way everything turned out

  Home Genuis phone agents are extremely poor listeners. I have quite a large document of materials and specifics for what I want done for 3 different big projects. I asked the scheduler if I could email it to them before inspection to save everyone time. But it was like talking to a wall. He said I could email it to the tech on the day of inspection but he would absolutely not give me an email address to send it to. (It seems they desperately want to get you into that "in person" high pressure sales situation that other reviewers mention here.) A different person called me to confirm the appointment and I again asked if I could email my project list... the caller said no, to give it to the tech when they show up. I tried explaining I'm not reading the email to the tech nor am I going to print it out. I wanted to email it to him to confirm they are interested in my projects BEFORE coming to my home so nobody's time is wasted. She didn't care. They called yet again (a 3rd person) today to tell me the person doing the inspection will be 45 minutes late. I AGAIN asked to email my list to the tech since this was now the point the scheduler said I could do it... but it was literally like talking to another wall, incapable of going off her script. She actually sounded and paused like an AI. She still pushed for "telling" the tech when he arrives. Since she absolutely refused to listen to what I was saying and insisted on arguing, I just hung up. If there's already communication issues this severe, in the very beginning stage of the process, I can't imagine the final project would be what I asked for. If they can't accommodate the simplest request for an email address, how could they possibly handle an issue that arises during construction? Hire local, stay away from this type of company.

  EDIT : THIS COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW IS DISHONEST -- AND MY ROOF IS STILL LEAKING. The people that came out to fix it didn't do anything. Then another person came out to fix it, added more caulk, but my roof is still leaking. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! FULL STOP. Horrible communication and the new roof is leaking, it's not even 2 months old. EDIT : THIS COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW IS DISHONEST -- AND MY ROOF IS STILL LEAKING after someone came out! their response to my review stated: "Our team communicated the schedule change and reached out to confirm that a new project manager would take over before installation." -- No, they did not. I called the project manager when nobody showed up. The project manager said they **didn't know where the crew was and they should be on site** and said they'd have to check. They called me back saying the crew couldn't come out that day and would come out the next. I called the next day and was then informed they weren't my project manager anymore. At no time did HGE initiate these conversations. I had to reach out every time. INCLUDING AFTER A STORM WHEN MY ROOF LEAKED. They did send people out, who didn't do anything and left without telling me anything. The rescheduling was **AFTER** the communication issues and nobody showing up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! FULL STOP. Horrible communication and the new roof is leaking, it's not even 2 months old. Before the project started I called to verify my appointment three times on three different days and nobody at the main office knew who I was. I had to call the main number because the sale's person didn't leave me a card. I put a $2500 down payment and nobody knew who I was less than a week before the installation date. After that, the project manager called me before the day of the install saying they'd be in around 8am. The following day, nobody showed up. I called the project manager and they didn't know where the crew was, so it got rescheduled. The following day they reassigned the project to another project manager and DIDN'T TELL ME. It rained earlier this week and I have water leaking into my attic around the chimney. It's the first rain storm since the new roof. Water intrusion was the main reason I got the roof replaced. It was enough of a water intrusion it made a puddle in the basement from dripping down outside of the chimney. They sent someone out two days after the storm who said "it's dry now" - it's days after the storm, that doesn't solve the problem. That person sent another person out to look at the attic who also said "it's dry now". IT'S DAYS AFTER THE STORM, OF COURSE IT'S DRY NOW! The manager said the chimney would be resealed. I requested before and after photos to show it was resealed. I not only didn't get any photos, nobody updated me that any work was done. They just left. I reached out to the install manager who said "They should have resealed it, I'll touch base with them to make sure". That was yesterday, and now IT'S SNOWING TODAY!
