Grasscloth, silk, vinyl, foil, and everything else in so many places I’ve lost track. Here is a truth worth remembering. The craftsman is important, but the designer’s selection trumps skill. My skill cannot make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. Tyler is a gifted designer, and his choices set the jobs I’ve done for him apart.

I loved the design they proposed, their team worked hard and cleaned up daily. The two team members that did most of the construction were excellent, very professional and conscientious. The quality of the cabinets, countertops are excellent. I had a couple of minor issues a few months later with some caulking cracking, they sent one of the team out to fix it. I was very pleased with the work and would highly recommend them.

Do you offer financing?
We do not offer financing options for any of our services at this time, but we are happy to work with your bank or credit union.
Do you do free estimates?
Our designers are happy to give an initial pricing range at no cost to you after learning about what you’re looking for during our consultation. This won’t be an exact quote, but it will serve as a great starting point for your project.
What is a design-build remodel group?
Great question! A design-build remodel group combines the design and construction phases of remodeling a home into one straightforward, seamless process. You can think of companies like Haus Studio as one-stop shops for renovations, re-designs, and home refreshes of all shapes and sizes. It’s an innovative approach to traditional methods of transforming your home.
How long will my project take?
Just like investments, project timelines vary widely and depend on many factors. When completing a standard project, we generally like to ask our clients to prepare their calendars for about 3-9 months of construction and final touches after signing contracts.
Will I have to move out?
The decision to move out during the construction phase of your project is almost always a personal one to be made between you and your family. Our general thoughts are that, unless you are doing a large-scale, multi-space, or whole-home remodel, you are more than welcome to continue living in your space! Haus’ trusted partners, installers, and designers are accustomed to working with homeowners who choose not to move out, and we will design our construction schedule to be respectful of your family’s time and space. Note that there will inevitably be necessary changes to your at-home lifestyle should you decide to remain in your house!
Are your installers employees of the company?
Yes! All of our installers are employees of Haus. Any trained technicians that may need to be in your home to install countertops, plumbing, wallpaper, tile, etc., are all long-time, well-vetted partners of our company.
Can I use my own Interior Designer?
Absolutely! At Haus Studio, we pride ourselves on partnering well with others. If you’re already working with a designer and are looking for a company to complete remodel services only, we’re happy to help.
Do I have to choose all of my materials by myself?
We never require our clients to choose any of their materials and finishes alone. Apart from using their expertise to suggest the best material options, your designers will walk you through both our showroom and the showrooms of our tile, appliance, and plumbing partners to find what works best for your new space!
Who will be managing my project?
One of our talented designers will be assigned to your project to get to know you and handle the overall redesign of your space(s), and Tyler Swartzmiller–Founder and Lead Designer at Haus–will work alongside your designer as an active consultant and project anchor. Both Tyler and your designer will be directly available to you and your family during the entire process. Along with your design team, our Production Manager, Kenny Parrish, will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of your project from construction to completion.
