Greetings to everyone at Columbus Glass & Mirror! Thank you! Thank you! From the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you to everyone who I came in contact with at the CG&M show room! Everyone was very friendly and pleasant to speak with. I took in my measurements and an example of the small glass table top to be used as a design for replacing a larger rectangular table top. Although I emailed the width and length I wanted them to see the beveled design on the table top. They remeasured the table top, especially the beveled design. Well, 18 days later I received a phone call that my table top was ready and I could come and pick it up! My son and I went to pick up the finished product. The finished cost was only $2 more than the estimate! The inlaid top fit perfectly! Their price was very good and much, much lower than the two other companies that I spoke with! So again, I am saying Thank You CG&M for your wonderful service.

I had one of the best experiences with this business. All I wanted was few glass shelves and couple small mirrors. My order was probably insignificant for them since they normally deal with commercial large scale orders but they treated me like a first class customer. Here is what I think differentiates them from the rest 1. Timeliness - Got a call back with a quote in no time. That wasn't my experience with other glass companies. Also my order was ready in a day! 2. Art of Consulting - Tim spent enough time gave me options over phone and letting me know which ones I could get quicker and better. 3. Price - They offered me the best price among the many glass companies I contacted in Columbus. 4. Customer Service - Very courteous in greeting me. Tim also helped me carry the glass to my car. Above all they tried to save me money and at the same time made sure the quality of the glass edges were really good even though I did not ask for any polish. Very nice experience! Keep it up folks!

Frequently Asked Questions About Columbus Glass & Mirror, Inc.

What's the difference between tempered and laminated glass?

Tempered glass Is made by rapidly cooling glass that has been heated to extreme temperatures, tempered glass is four times stronger than regular glass. When broken, it shatters into small, rounded pieces instead of sharp shards, which reduces the risk of injury. Tempered glass is often used in shower doors and public buildings. However, it can't be cut or processed after it's tempered, so if the measurements are wrong, it can't be shaped or sized. Laminated glass Made by sandwiching two or more pieces of glass between a plastic interlayer, laminated glass is strong enough to withstand the force of a bullet or rock without shattering. When it breaks, the glass sticks to the plastic layer and doesn't fall to the floor. Laminated glass is often used in car windshields, storefront doors, and building windows. It also filters out UV rays, which can protect your skin and furnishings from sun damage. Laminated glass is also a good sound proofer.
