It wasn’t until May 19 that I finally received a call and text from the owner, Kile Cameron. He asked if I was available Thursday. I stated Thursday at 3 PM, provided my address, and followed up the day before to reconfirm. Unfortunately, no one ever called or showed up to discuss the project. I reached out again Thursday evening — no response, even though the message was marked as “Read.” Following this, I spoke with TJ, the Customer Relations Liaison Manager at Budget Blinds’ corporate office. In my opinion, the way the escalation was handled only deepened my concerns. When I raised issues about professionalism, I was met with comments like “I’m not taking sides.” I felt talked over during the call, and at times, it felt like I was being lectured rather than supported as a potential customer. A simple Google search for “Budget Blinds reviews” shows I’m not the only one who’s had issues — there are many complaints about customer service and responsiveness. In my experience, this process was frustrating and unprofessional. I encourage others to do their research before choosing Budget Blinds. There are other companies out there who may value your time more.

The sales experience was seamless but after many months I still do not have installed blinds. We requested to paint the brackets prior to install so the installers dropped off the blinds but never returned for install once we were ready for install. I now have boxes of blinds sitting in my home. Frustrated and not sure where to go from here. Good luck to anyone buying blinds. I hope that my issue can be resolved as I have enjoyed working with Budget Blinds in the past.
