Their service people told me my furnace issues were out of warranty, repair cost was $5600 but suggested that I replace the 10yr old furnace and AC instead. Sales guy came in and presented a quote for $27k to replace. Upon my own research (with the help of a friend in the business) he uncovered that the part WAS still covered under warranty. Repaired for $912 in labor costs…Forwarded to the manager who was quite active when trying to sell the $27k package but went full ghost mode when I told him I got it repaired under warranty. Not my preferred way of conducting biz!

Service man came out used the camera looking for a blockage that was $650 /then told us it be $2000 to fix the issue, so we paid the $2000, then he said that was just the deposit and it would be $5400, so we said no and to cancel that transaction and that was on 3/31/26 and every time a call to check on the refund, I get the run around and they say Amy will call me, well it ls now 4/6 and Amy hasn't called and still no refund back on my card!!!

Chad Flack did an amazing job for our well repair. He was very responsive leading up to the first visit then he became a trusted friend, informing of the repairs needed, then ordered the parts and texted me to let me know when the part came in and when he could do the work. Not only did he handle everything with communication at an excellent level, he even took a look at a leaky faucet and answered questions about a future hot water tank need. The guy was great and I look forward to additional work being handled by Chad and the official CBJ service provider. Go Apex Pros and Go Jackets!

Columbus may love Apex pros, but Marysville doesn’t.
Issue 1)
We recently purchase a home that had an AC unit installed by them last summer (so only 8 months old at this point).
I called to ask them to transfer the warranty to me, since I’m the new owner of this home. Their policy is that since I didn’t buy the ac unit, I am not covered by any warranty. I disagree with this policy, because no one is going to physically pick up an AC unit and take it with them, when they move. It’s a garbage way for the to weasel their way out of any warranty work. I then tried to express my frustrations, and then they have the audacity to try to sell me on some seasonal service thing (still no warranty) as if that would fix the warranty issue.
Issue 2)
During our home inspection, it was found the furnace needed replacing, because it was beyond its useful life, because the unit was 30 years old.
We had a new furnace installed by a different HVAC company. The HVAC company highlighted issues with the installation that Apex did. The dryer filter was never installed, the heat pump was never wired up (there weren’t enough wires at the thermostat to communicate to the heat pump).
After back and forth, because they aren’t providing me a warranty, they agreed to come and inspect their install.
On March 24th, they gave me a time window of 1-6PM for March 25th. On March 25th, I get a call around 10:45 saying “hey, our quality manager is buttoning up a job in Hilliard, he should be headed your way soon”. I thought perfect, I’ll head home from work now.
Then 12:00 comes and goes, then 1:00 comes and goes, then 2:00, then 3:00, and at 3:30 I call to just see what’s up. I’m told something came up, and he could be there later this evening. I ask to reschedule to which they gave us the time window of March 26th from 1-3. I can’t make it but my wife will be home.
I get a call, on March 26th, saying “Hey, he’ll be there in 30 minutes”. Awesome, he’ll take a look at the info the other HVAC company shared with me, and handle it accordingly.
The guy gets here, doesn’t introduce his name just says “Apex”. He goes down stairs and spends most of the time reviewing the furnace installed by the other company, and seems to miss the whole point of why he’s there. He then starts talking things over my wife, and just gives off a very poor attitude and an overall lack of professionalism.
I wasn’t able to be present, because of work, but my wife game me a summary and Apex sent me a summary of their visit. Basically it overlooks all of the concerns I pointed out and just nit picked everything from the furnace…that was installed by a different company.
To say I’m disappointed with my one and only Apex experience, is an understatement. We’ve been sharing our experience with our friends and family, so that they know to take their business elsewhere.
In respose to your reply about calling customer service: I did speak to Apex customer service and this info above was my experience with the Apex customer service. That's the whole point of second section. I even provided photos of the drier that was not present, before the furnace install, and I've attached them to this review just for visibility. There has not been any communication from customer service since then...
